Thermal System Engineering and Analysis

The design and analysis of a Spacecraft Thermal Control System is a critical element to the success of any space-faring venture. Our team has extensive experience across the full Spacecraft life-cycle; from initial concept studies to on-orbit operations - and everything in between.


Test Planning and Support

Spacecraft Thermal Vacuum Testing (TVAC) can be a time when round-the-clock surge support from your Thermal Team is required - sometimes for weeks or months on end. Our personnel can help fill your support-staffing needs during these tests, or we can even help by drafting your TVAC Test Plan as you envision how to best verify your design and assess the workmanship of your Thermal Control System.


Model Tune-Up

Our team is experienced in detecting and correcting issues that cause Thermal Desktop and SINDA models to run slow. If you need help getting your model to run faster, or even if you just need a second set of eyes on your model and assumptions, we can assist. We will review your modeling techniques, parameters, and overall model setup and provide any recommendations for improvement. This is a great way to get some experienced “outside help” with a troublesome model.


Thermal Toolkit

T4’s primary Thermal Analysis tools belong to the C&R Technologies product suite; Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, RadCAD, FloCAD, and TD Direct. These tools are top-echelon Industry Standards that are well-suited to Spacecraft Thermal Engineering and Analysis. Learn more here:
